I took Mom to Morocco for to celebrate her 70th “platinum jubilee” bday! 🥳
It was her first time traveling overseas & we made it count! Stayed at a beautiful black owned resort (riad) @mwasiglobal ! 🖤 Booked a photoshoot & massages by @opulense.photography x @averyl.trimble.lmt ! 🙌🏾
Experienced watching the sunrise in a hot air balloon! 🎈Rode a camel through the desert! 🐪 Shopped in the Souks, learned how Moroccan Oil & Silk Scarfs are made! 🧣Drunk Moroccan Mint Tea (Moroccan Whiskey) every morning & ate Tagine at night! 😋 Visited the Jewelry Museum, Gold district & historic Baja Palace with @tbarnesglobal has our glamorous tour guide! 💅🏾 Ended the trip with a night out at a cute lil speakeasy, thanks to our social concierge @rasheedshakur ! 🥂It was interesting visiting during Ramadan, & colder than expected but the people were amazing… everywhere we went they sung happy birthday to her (even in different languages), I’ve never seen her smile so much! 😊 #missionaccomplished ✅
