This fierce and fiery oval measures 9.6 x 8.3 x 6.5mm and was cut my a man who I do not know, but who surely has NO FEAR💪🏼!!!

I say this because this material only has a Mohs Hardness of 3.5-4 and has perfect , prismatic cleavage planes, basically at right angles! 🤯😫😭

That being said, this gemstone is NOT recommended for jewelry (unless you are a professional jeweler who also has NO FEAR), but rather for private collection.

Gem Rhodochrosite is already rare… faceted rhodochrosite is much rarer!

This stone does have some imperfections, namely it has some natural inclusions that surfaced on the pavilion that were not fully cut out, but overall, this gem faces up wonderfully and is a sight to behold!

This stone has one crystal inclusion hidden on the edge near the girdle, but faces up very clean.

In low light conditions, the stone looks mostly grey, sometimes violet/grey; however, it shows a very lovely blue in outdoor lighting. The second to last photo in this post shows a lighter version of the “grey” that is seen in low light conditions, and the last photo the “blue” when a bit of sunlight is around 😎

This custom shield measures 9.5 x 8.7 x 5.7mm and has a step-cut crown and a radiant style pavilion.

Although this stone does have some minor inclusions, it does face up fairly clean for an emerald. What I love about this Ethiopian material is that it glows! Not in the dark, but it truly has a soft but noticeable glow about it in just about all lighting.

I just love the multitude of colors that disperse out of this stone. Some via dispersion, and the others via the mix of natural colors within the stone itself. The lighter saturation of this unheated tanzanite really allows light to do magical things!

This gem is BLUE! Any green seen in videos or photos is a reflection of the grass and other foliage. Not too dark, and not too light, it’s tone and saturation are “Just Right” 😊

This round brilliant measures 6.5 x 6.5 x 4.1mm and was precision cut in Russia.

As far as color goes, this gem is not the more commonly seen forrest-green or yellow-green, but bluish-green! Saturation is light-medium, cut is excellent and clarity is very good: it only has horsetails, which are not detracting from the dispersion or overall beauty of the stone.
