An afternoon delving into each otherās creative worldsā¦
Every experience has a lesson, every lesson has a story, and every story has a place in our art.
There were casual chats about the road to entering art competitions and prizes, with many a thought as to the how, what and why to putting our creations in front of judges.
Tales of success following the deep cut of rejection, sleepless nights with a brain full of buzz, and planning ahead for the portrait of the year!
All while immersing ourselves in the beauty of Mark Crockerās photography works, on the walls of the Topology hub until early June. A true reflection of detail, of discovery, and a side to flowers you may never have seen before!

U Create Art Studio is delighted to support The Gap Creative Signature Exhibition at Tula Gallery ā and students, this is your time to shine.
At the heart of everything I do is a deep belief that art is for all. Celebrating youth art is so important because young people need platforms where they can express themselves, be seen, be valued and grow in confidence through creativity. Art gives students a voice, a sense of identity, and a place to explore their ideas, emotions and individuality. That is the very core of why I teach, and the cornerstone of my philosophy.
The Gap Creative continues to champion and celebrate inspired local creatives across all disciplines, and as part of fostering that creative spirit, the Art Spark Youth Art Awards were launched to nurture and encourage the next generation of artists in our suburb. Iām so proud to support an initiative that recognises the importance of giving young artists a place to shine.
