This is a magical moment. The end of a journey and the beginning of another. Some people enter your life and it’s simply magic ✨ that was the case for Leon Hendrix III and Ito Agahyere

From watching movies as a little girl and being determined to one day be one of the many hundreds of dedicated crew to have my name on the silver screen credits, to now having Co-produced our very own movie, 🍿 I simply couldn’t be prouder of the talent that Leon, Ito and Jesse have in abundance. Leon’s vision from the very beginning was perfectly aligned with my own Amélie-esque magical experience of Paris.
@juniorandpereira ‘s amazing cinematography perfectly captured the magic in every captivating glance of
@itoaghayere ‘s shining beauty and talent.
I first came to Paris with a dream of working in film and tv in 2001 aged 21, with no job, no where to live, one friend and a bucket load of hope. It’s surreal to me today 25 years on that I now run three businesses, produce movies, branded content and tv, and am surrounded not only by an incredible hard working team but a fantastic bunch of people I get to call friends, even though in fact they often feel more like family.
I’m immensely proud of Leon for achieving his vision and the success this film will bring him, but I’m also personally grateful for the opportunity to have been Executive Producer and achieved a lifetime dream.
Even if the film doesn’t win the nomination (tick tock!) we have won already. We’ve shown that hard work, determination to birth a creative vision and the support of an amazing team with a shared dream is all it takes to win big on the inside.
If you’re gonna work and you have to climb mountains, you have to go over the mountain each morning singing.
Making films makes my heart sing. So despite the hard graft and long days, I wouldn’t change it for the world. 💫
Thank you
@yunggiftedblack for bringing me on this ride. It’s been wild. 🙌🏻🎬❤️
