I have not posted in a while.. I'm still at the guitar every day. I've been memorizing songs I've recently written and preparing for upcoming shows.. I also go to open mics here in Eugene 3-5 times per week which gives me plenty of opportunity to try out new material.. There's no substitute for playing live! Did you enjoy this 7 seconds? Post Valentine's post.. Things I love? I love the quiet of the early morning hours. I love coffee, black! I love being close to nature, being out there in it! I love the feeling of writing a new song, following that muse.. I love knowing this is all a dream and that it's a privilege to co-create with it..Life is a dance! I love how music connects us.. Music is energy that can change the world! I love jokes and laughter! I love being a jokester! Also, I'm going through a phase currently with the sentimental love song.. My heart strings are being pulled by an invisible force. To where I have no idea? I simply follow the "beloved". How can I not? 🙏❤️💘💕

Writing 100 songs in 30 days.. this is number 46? (My 30 days are officially up) - but I'm keeping the ball rolling.. This song is titled: Fear Not Pretty Maiden (child ballad 666) It's a total "banger" as they say. I plan on playing it tonight at the Oregon Wine Lab open mic tonight! See you there! 🍷💕
100 songs in 30 days continues.. (looks like 39 so far?) I've been having a blast going to open mics and doing "show and tell" this month. I've played many of these out (at least once) but not all.. It took me writing about 35 songs to get to one that is (without a doubt) the best song I've ever written (so far) Actually, I can't claim to have written anything.. I just feel something and they come out.. Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I cry. Sometimes I feel raw inside.. The bar has now been set extremely high.. Note: I have a show coming up Saturday February 7th at 3pm. At 255 Madison with Dad Ideas..
