This young man would have been 49 today... I miss him everyday day! How I would enjoy having a pint with him, discussing the nuances of his favorite IPA... or having him explain the subtle moves of soccer player on the pitch. Day 2 at WCAF Expo ... Seminar on "The Perfect Corner" with John Harry Gaston ... We'll done! Then onto the trade show floor where I bumped into former staff employee Lisa Hansen Spencer with her husband, Todd. Lisa worked for me 42 years ago and I had no idea that they would be here...They own a frame shop, gift and coffee shop in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
New Smyrna Beach, Florida... First time that Bill Mckay and I have seen each other in 50+ years. 😳 We both ran cross country at SPHS '68. We're having a seafood dinner with Bill's wife, Penny A Mckay ... what a great visit and evening together!
This past week of shopping for The Frame Workshop at the Atlanta Gift Market, we broke away from downtown and headed to a plant based Latin American restaurant, ",La Semilla" in the Reynoldstown neighborhood. What a great meal and lively experience.

My last Thanksgiving mission while in Maryland was to surprise a second person.... this time, long time HS friend and musician celebrating his 75th Birthday. Jim Patton was performing at 49 West in Annapolis and I had the privilege of enjoying this celebratory gig... but did so in Cognito. 🤪 Jim didn't figure it out until the end, but eagle eyed, Sherry Brokus busted me instantly ! A surprise Thanksgiving trip to fly to the Eastern Shore (MD) to visit my sister, Chris took 34 hours due to delayed flights in & out of Chicago (winds).... but I made it! 👍 and technically still Thanksgiving Day. Chris's son, Andrew joined us as well. 🥰❤️🥰

What a beautiful & peaceful Saturday evening! Lake Michigan splashing on the rocks at Two Rivers... I had to journey over to Brillion/Collins area and realized that I was only 10 miles away... 👍 Good decision!
