Today on Earth Day, hundreds of thousands of gallons of water were wasted to destroy the Iceman sculpture created by our own native son, and Toronto's biggest ambassador. The mayor could've intervened to let it live but of course didn't. What do you think? đ¤
It's a shame that U of T and the City couldn't preserve this marvel of brutalist architecture. The planetarium is imprinted in our memory, and could have been revitalized to be a space for entertainment, education and the wonders of the cosmos. But instead in true Toronto fashion, they take the wrecking ball to our city's landmark structures đ
