@littlesip.pdx and i have teamed up to bring you a valentine’s dinner this saturday, feb. 14. you can reserve via link in profile for either 430 or 7pm.
we’re celebrating citrus season throughout this menu. absolutely love all the citrus varieties that are popping up. different levels of sweet and tart. it’s incredible.
we’re starting off with eryngii and parsnip scallops tossed in a citrus wine sauce. followed by a crouton salad which is a big crouton stuffed with an herbaceous cashew cheese and topped with rosalba, blood oranges, and mandarins.
the third course will be confit leeks and beets. i’m obsessed with leeks and i love how buttery they get when they’re slow cooked. these will be over a soubise sauce. it’s sweet, earthy, buttery and creamy.
then for the fourth course it’ll be a beet and lion’s mane wellington served with a pomme purée and a red wine reduction sauce.
before dessert we’ll start with a palette cleanser being the pomelo granita. it’s a bright, tart and slightly sweet semi frozen dessert.
we’ll finish off the evening with a tiramisu eclair. all the flavors of tiramisu packed in an eclair.
