How in the world is @rocsolidfoundation going to reach 16,000 families? Easy - we’ll start with one. We’ll focus on the one right in front of us - the single Ready Bag we’re packing, the playset we’re building, the family right in front of us - as we prepare to reach the many. And I hope you’ll join us as we work towards the day HOPE changes everything for the pediatric cancer community. ✌🏻

I can pretty much guarantee that if there’s a baseball field, chances are the Newmans have been there - this time, back in Charleston for year 3 of cheering on Brax [where they took home 2nd place out of 43 teams]!! ⚾️✊🏻 Awesome weekend getaway with my fam.

Still feeling the warmth from an evening that truly moved us. 💙 A few weeks ago, The Neon House had the profound honor of hosting @rocsolidfoundation for an intimate gathering titled “The Night Hope Changes Everything.” As we reflect on the recent Mother’s Day weekend, our hearts are especially with the resilient mothers and families navigating the journey of a pediatric cancer diagnosis. Roc Solid exists to build hope for these families when they need it most, providing a community of support that reminds them they are never alone. One highlight of the night was hearing from founder @theericnewman , who shared that being at The Neon House felt like “being at home, eating at his own table with dear friends.” To Eric and the entire Roc Solid team: Thank you for choosing our space for such a pivotal mission. We are humbled to be a small part of your story and deeply inspired by the vision you share with this community. There’s no doubt in my mind that I’ve got the best mom around - my mom, the O.G. @rocsolidfoundation mama bear, the best support system there is - and so do my kids. Cam and Brax are the luckiest to call @ap.newman their mom. I hope you both know how much you’re loved + appreciated 24/7/365.

Where in the world am I? 🌏📍 Well, a little all over the place for the next couple weeks - first up, Ohio with the @kauliggiving crew for their @rocsolidfoundation Ready Bag packing party [and they convinced me to get behind the camera this time 😜]. Major props to Matt and the entire Kaulig crew for joining us as we summit to 16,000!!

Every one of these @rocsolidfoundation shipments - whether its one, or 19, or 80+ boxes - has the power to change the world. Every single one represents a family who's just been told the worst news imaginable: their child has cancer. In that moment, the lights go out on the life they once knew. In that moment, everything in their world changes. But that's why these bags exist: to give parents one less thing to worry about [because it's got their phone charger + toiletries covered] and to remind these families that they don't have to navigate this new reality alone [because we've got them covered]. ✌️

Story time: In the early days of @rocsolidfoundation , every single Ready Bag was sourced and packed by hand. We were broke, and I had no clue how we’d fulfill a request we got for five Ready Bags from the local children’s hospital. That’s when @qvc showed up for us, and gave us all that and then some. Because of their “yes,” we were able to give hope to those five families and recently, they joined us again - this time, at their own Rrady Bag Packing Party [don’t worry - we had enough supplies this time 😜]. Never doubt the power that your “yes” can have not only in someone else’s story, but in yours, too. ✌🏻📦

I don't know the first thing about keeping plants alive. I definitely don't have a green thumb, by any means. But one thing I do know - and I've been reflecting on lately - is this: the success of any plant, like leadership, faith, or life, is determined by the commitment of the one caring for it. Starting the day with prayer is a non-negotiable for me - and it’s made even better when it includes these two. We prayed over what @rocsolidfoundation will do in this space and got an awesome view to go with it [swipe].
