Hey everybody. This Kon Tiki hit the spot for being out on the water. Fresh and crisp like Cab Sauv has proven itself to be to me. In the future probably more suited for a picnic at the end or beginning of summer. So Right before I launched I found out that the job I was going for isn't going to happen. Budgets🖕🏼. Well until then I'll raise a glass and hope my ex stops questioning our relationship and comes back. As always have a great week and day.
Hey everybody. Alright what the next to be corked. I'm down for some deep thought tonight. Wine is always a good companion. Who would you contemplate the human existence with and over which bottle? I'm feeling the Beaujolais by Georges Dubeaf
I couldn't pass up the opportunity to head down to the water and finish my book and this bottle. Cab Sauv was introduced to me by a very special person who has an affinity for all things Australian. Granted this bottle is American but I couldn't deny these grapes to take me to the water and think about great times. The first time I had it I remember thinking it's not Chardonnay so how could any white satisfy my rough palette. It took a glass or four but I soon realized that I had been wrong again. Warm summer days need this like port needs a Christmas fire. Who would you take to the lake front and drink a bottle with? As always have a great week and day.
Hey everybody. So I easily talked myself out of riding down to the lake front and enjoying this there. It's a perfect 80 degrees and this Sauv Blanc would be most fitting in the Chicago summer sun. Lemon peach and pear jump out at you at first sip. Definitely a refreshing choice for a Monday like today. The bottle and I are both sweating equally and the 1.5 mile ride may be worth the breeze. For now though we're going to enjoy our Monday on the porch and try and conclude what I'll be doing with this new feed. Have a great day and week and tag someone you'd enjoy a glass of Pomelo at the beach or on the porch with.
