Trying to condense our stay into a short video was tricky, but here's a taster of our incredible stay at @theelvetham we loved every minute 😍
What a way to celebrate Gary's birthday! If it's good enough for Jane Seymour and Henry VIII, then it's definitely good enough for us 😜
The hotel, the grounds and our suite were esquisite! The food was divine and the massage soooo relaxing. The staff were amazing! I have to say this is the best UK hotel we have stayed in so far.

Sunday Stills 📸 The Elvetham Hotel
After a very eventful few months, having to postpone our trip to @theelvetham hotel as Dad was rushed to hospital, we finally made it to celebrate Gary’s belated birthday — and wow, we had the most incredible time! ✨
The 35-acre country house hotel in Hook, Hampshire is steeped in history. The estate dates back to the Domesday era and is probably most famously known for being the residence of the Seymour family. Henry VIII met Jane Seymour here, who would later become Queen.
We were lucky enough to stay in the Seymour Suit, and wow… I can’t quite put into words how magnificent it was. I felt like a queen staying there! The first eight photos were actually taken inside our suite — it was the size of an apartment and I honestly wanted to move in.
The staff made our visit and Gary’s birthday so special — from a birthday card and goodies in our room, massages, to a cake and the staff singing happy birthday at dinner. 🥹
This is just a glimpse into our stay, focusing mostly on our suite and the beautiful building, as you know I looove interiors and historic buildings.
