For this year's undergraduate anthology, we were able to collaborate with NUA design students. Their responses to our design brief were so creative and truly expressed the talent of NUA.
After putting the designs to vote through our society (thank you to all the members who voted) we now have the winning design by @visionaryime !

We must have at least the signatory roles (Vice President and Treasurer) filled in order to run as a society next year.

Each piece reflects on how we respond to the stillness of winter: from the anxieties of solitude, to the comforts of cosying away from emails and laptop screens.
Egg Box's two most recent anthologies, the UEA Undergraduate Creative Writing Anthology 2025 "Underworld" and UEA Winter Anthology "Hibernation" are now out of print and ready to be distributed!
We are holding a book launch for the publications, and would love for you to come along!

The event will involve an open mic for the authors to read their published work, and a book sale for the anthologies.

The elections for next academic year's Egg Box signatory committee positions are now open!
Only Egg Box members may nominate themselves for the role.
This round of elections is only for the signatory roles. Elections for the remaining committee role will open in May.

The roles include:

The president oversees the running of the society and manages the production of Egg Box's publications.
𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭
The Vice President supports the President on an operational level - ensuring the efficiency and productivity of the society, and managing communications.
𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫
The Treasurer manages the society's finances - monitoring society purchases and the society ledger.
Nominations are open now, and close on 16th March 9am.
The voting will open 17th March 9am, and close on 20th March 9am.

The publications are of UEA Creative Writing MA students' writing, which showcases their creativity and hard work.
The anthologies are Scriptwriting, Non-Fiction & Prose Fiction, Crime Fiction and Literary Translation.
