Today we celebrate #EuropeDay!🥳
Every day, students, educators and institutions across Europe are building connections that go far beyond classrooms and campuses.🎓
🌍Here’s to collaboration, exchange and a more connected future through international education!
🧤Another volunteering day in the bag! Last week, our Office staff spent a sunny afternoon gardening together at Cordaan de Die, a care home in the north of Amsterdam.
Thanks for having us, @stichtingcordaan !
International education is, first and foremost, about the students. The recent Erasmus Generation Meeting brought students and higher ed professionals together as equal partners to share ideas and learn from one another.
☀️EAIE's Laura, Cecilia and Rita travelled to Split, Croatia, to contribute across multiple #EGM2026 sessions on internationalisation strategies, early careers, resilient mobility and amplifying young voices.
Thanks for having us, @erasmus.generation !

🌳7000+ trees planted across Europe. This #EarthDay, we’re highlighting one way our community is turning responsibility into action:
🗺️As an organisation that brings thousands of people together each year, we know our work has an environmental footprint – and we’re working to reduce it year-round. In 2025, we adopted over 7000 trees with the @lifeterra_europe and put them into the hands of our conference participants.
♻️We’re just getting started – stay tuned in the lead-up to #EAIE2026!
“Internationalisation of the curriculum can’t wait,” was the message when university leaders met in Bucharest for the second edition of the EAIE Internationalisation Insight Series.👇
Co-organised by the EAIE and the National Council of Rectors from Romania, and hosted by @universitatearomanoamericana , the event brought leaders from Romania and the Republic of Moldova to share practical approaches, from COIL to micro-credentials, and what it takes to move from strategy to implementation.
