As a Black-owned spot, it also carries a strong sense of community while still feeling elevated and exciting.
Their happy hour keeps things simple with discounted cocktails and bites like bone marrow, which is a must if you’re leaning into something rich and indulgent. But it’s worth staying beyond HH to explore more of the menu.
We tried cocktails like the Blind Monkey and the Last Word, both beautifully balanced and full of depth. Definitely the kind of drinks you sip slowly and order again.
For dinner, the spicy pasta alla vodka had the perfect kick, and the steak au poivre was rich, classic, and done right. And of course, we ended with cheesecake, which felt like the only correct way to close out the night.
The space is dim, cozy, and a little sultry, making it ideal for date nights or catching up with friends when you want something that feels a bit elevated but still relaxed.
