One week til our show at @bestfriendsforeverfest in Las Vegas, a city weāve only played once (Feb 2000, the folks we stayed with woke everyone early to see that it was rainingāwhich was rare enough that it warranted a wake up it seems!) Excited to see lots of bands, but especially @thebandkarate who we havenāt seen in forever but always loved playing shows together.

The beloved Washington, D.C. bandĀ formed in 1993 and recorded 5 albums together over their career. With the looming 25th anniversary of the albumĀ Emergency & I, The Dismemberment Plan managed to squeeze in a few select shows this year - including United Sounds NYC Fest.
In a recent interview with @spinmag member Eric Axelson shared, āI work at Capital One now and Iām always surprised when Iām randomly in a meeting and someoneās like, oh, youāre in Dismemberment Plan? You kind of forget that thereās people out there that like your old records. Plus, a lot of people never saw us. I think a lot of folks are excited to come see us play.āĀ
