I recently had the privilege of creating two looks for Leslie Henry for the 2025 MiGen fashion show. Leslie and her wife Jen have been together for 14 years. They were both kind enough to share their personal photographs with me, and I was able to create blueprints of memories with the cyanotype process. Leslie was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s at 53. Jen is also her caregiver. I wanted to design looks that would highlight memories while also giving Leslie outfits that could be a comfortable extension of herself. I chose to screen print Leslie’s handwriting, linear shapes and colorful chrysanthemum’s as it is the official flower of Chicago, where the two met, and subsequently bloomed into one of the most beautiful partnerships I have ever witnessed. I think that their love is something only few people could ever dream of experiencing. I feel so grateful to have met them, and to have the opportunity to tell their story in the best way I know how. BIG THANK YOU to Leslie & Jen Henry, Jess Minnick @notsorrygoods , MiGen (Michigan LGBTQ+ Elders Network @migenconnect and Kelly December @kelly____anne #screenprinting #cyanotypeart #cameraless #alzheimers #loveislove #lgbtq #fashion #storytelling #print #printmaker #printmaking #photo #photography #memories #family #communityfirst #community

Printed this LIMITED RUN of mesh cropped shirts for @parasol_detroit CHRISTMAS IN JULY. Every time I think of pools and queers, I think of David Hockney. And every time I think of David Hockey I think about how we went to the same art school and how much of a laugh that was. SPLASH by DOM PRESS is a homage to those early paintings and photographs by Hockney in LA and how resilient queers really are. Thank you @graysonvine_ for inviting me to be a part of CHRISTMAS IN JULY and thank you @parasol_detroit for hosting. ✨

I want to thank my friends and biggest supporters, @notsorrygoods , for opening up their space to me the last 2 years. I have learned so much and met so many incredible humans. You truly help remind me that i need to keep creating, and for that I am eternally grateful. For all of you who visited the shop, thank you! And for those of you who have not, there is still one more opportunity to come check it out. Not Sorry Goods is throwing a closing party! This Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 11am-6pm. Drinks, music and community. And it wouldn’t be a closing party without a special collaboration between @notsorrygoods and DOM PRESS. There will be a limited run of 22 pieces available for purchase at the event. All DOM PRESS classics will be 22% off. And new one of one’s will be on the racks. And finally, after the month of June I have decided to fully go online. Drop date for updated website is July 22, 2025. I have met so many of you in different cities and I hope you will keep shopping with me.

Happy 5th Birthday to my favorite freaks! Koka & Flores are quite literally my best friends and really keep DOM PRESS ready for each day, no matter what it brings. I drew up some stickers for summer vending to remind everyone of the staff over here. What do you think? (Felix the cat was my favorite cartoon growing up. I am sure you are **shocked**). . . . . #screenprinting #cat #cats_of_instagram #catsdaily #cats #catslovers #catlifestyle #catvideos #catart #kokaandflores #screenprintingcats #catbirthdayparty

The second look I designed for the @migenconnect Rainbow Resilience Fashion Show. My model, Leslie, and her wife, Jen, are truly remarkable human beings and it was a total privilege to meet them and create these wearable memories. The Dickies jacket has patches that were developed using the Cyanotype process and a 4 color screen print. Leslie and Jen were kind enough to share their personal photographs with me. The four color screen print features colorful chrysanthemums, as it is the official flower of Chicago, where the two met. The t-shirt features Leslie’s handwritten note that reads “I love my community.” The black joggers also includes a cyanotype photograph, a 4 color screen print (Image 5 is a close of this patch) and Leslie’s text screen printed up the left leg. The photograph of Leslie and Jen was taken by @jfmphoto The photograph of myself, Leslie and Jen was taken by @kelly____anne

It’s been a massive privilege to create a few looks for the @migenconnect Rainbow Resilience Fashion Show this Sunday, March 2, 2025. For folks who not familiar with MiGen, formally SAGE Metro Detroit, they provide services, advocacy and connection to LGTBQ+ folks ages 45+. Massive shout out to @its_jpeacock @notsorrygoods for organizing, being my biggest supporter, and for having me be part of this special event. Community like this keeps me going. This world is wild and being around so many creative, kind, compassionate and strong folks remind me why we all do the work we do. This jogger set is a mix of techniques utilizing the cyanotype process and silkscreen. All done here in the print shop. 💞
