When people ask me, “How do you do it all?” my answer will forever be: By God’s grace. 🙌🏽 Every creative idea. Every business plan. Every strategy I build for my clients. It all flows from Him—because “every good and perfect gift comes from above.” (James 1:17) But I’ll be honest with you… it wasn’t always this way. For a long time, I wanted God’s hand over my business, but I didn’t want His input. I made plans, chased goals, and asked Him to bless what I built. And then He reminded me that “unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” (Psalm 127:1) So He did what only a loving Father would do—He derailed my plans, sat me down, and refined me like new wine. Now, when people ask about my strategy, I point to obedience. When they ask about my blueprint, I point to His vision. My edge is His wisdom. My success is His grace. That’s why I created the Pray, Plan, Do! Workbook—because I know what it feels like to try to build alone, and I also know the freedom, clarity, and confidence that comes from building with God at the center. What are you holding onto that is holding you back? Sometimes we pray for new territory while still carrying old chains. The Israelites were delayed in the wilderness because although they left Egypt physically, Egypt was still living in their hearts. God could not bring them fully into the promise while they were still attached to the mindset, fear, and bondage of where He delivered them from. Some of us are free in body but still bound in mind. Bound by fear. Bound by offense. Bound by shame. Bound by old habits, old identities, and old survival modes. But Jesus didn’t come just to make us feel better. He came to SET US FREE. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” — Luke 4:18 May we stop romanticizing the places God delivered us from. May we stop grieving what was never meant to go with us. And may we finally have the courage to release the very thing that’s been keeping us from walking fully into what God has for us. Freedom is calling. 🤍
