Happy Birthday Dance Complex! On this day in 1991, through the efforts of founding Executive Director Rozann Kraus and others, The Dance Complex was officially incorporated as a non-profit. We've been dancing with you for 34 years and look forward to so many more!

Arts at the Armory presents artist, filmmaker, and national bestselling author Tourmaline on Thursday, 5/28 at 7pm!
Tourmaline will discuss her new book 'Marsha', published in May 2025 and the definitive biography of the revolutionary trans activist Marsha P. Johnson. The Harvard Bookstore will be selling copies of 'Marsha' on the night of the event, with a book signing following Tourmaline's presentation.
A Guggenheim Fellow and TIME100 Honoree, Tourmaline's work spans high art and pop culture. Her work is in the permanent collections of The Met, MoMA, Tate, and the Whitney.

This weekend! Sutikshna Veeravalli, Sapna Govindan & Gayathri Thampatty present "Sampadā: Traditional Treasures from Bharatanatyam & Mohiniyattam" at The Dance Complex on Saturday 5/16 at 7pm!
Sutikshna's Bharatanatyam presentation of a single, long-form piece follows one heroine’s process of disillusionment as she gathers courage to ask her significant other about his suspected infidelity. Sapna Govindan and Gayathri Thampatty present select Mohiniyattam choreographies which delve into devotion, maternal affection, and romantic love!

Don't miss Sara Juli's 'Intersection of Movement & Text' workshop at The Dance Complex this Monday, May 11 from 6:30-8:00pm!
Come learn how Sara fuses movement with text to generate autobiographical, introspective work! Through journaling, dance improvisation, sound and text, participants will leave with a bit of choreography that acts as a portal to something vulnerable and personal.

if you are an adult 60 years and over, you can become a member of the Cambridge Senior Center.
This is a beautiful facility where you can enjoy educational programs like this one, participate in community games and classes, socialize, and enjoy meals with like-minded individuals from your community.
This program is supported by a grant from Cambridge Arts, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
