Matisse and Picasso paying bar tabs in paintings. Yves Montand marrying Simone Signoret in the square. Chagall trading the world’s great cities for this one hilltop. A now us, staying in the very ivy-covered house where Jacques Prévert once wrote his poetry! We had 5 kids in 5 years and it felt like we would be in baby stage, toddler stage, little kid stage forever (which was 1000% fine with me because I truly loved it (🥹🤩)! But somehow, overnight, I wasn’t the mom with tiny babies around me or the mom pushing a triple stroller with one in a carrier on my chest and one holding the stroller! Now they are bigger kids and pre-teens and teens who are making us laugh and nurturing their own interests and talents. They continue to be our best friends that we genuinely choose and love to hang out with.🥰 Happy Mother’s Day to all the women who impact others for the better!🩷 #thedaintypear
