this is a really hard one to post. these songs were written in 2023 for a band that was supposed to be aaron, alex and i. im so grateful that we were able to get the vocals aaron did on the demos onto the final tracks. aaron was a great friend to me and one of the coolest guys ive ever met. when we decided we were gonna do this band together everyone was so excited. having these 3 songs out means a lot to all of us and i hope that everyone who has been missing aaron can listen to this and be reminded of how good it felt to be around him. always tell your friends that you love them. aaron liked heavy, abrasive music and his vocals suited this perfectly. its nothing short of a miracle that the vocal takes he did over the demos slotted perfectly into the no-click final tracks. every time i listen back to these tracks i think of him, and i miss him a lot. thank you also so much to dan and gunther for being a part of this when we put the lineup together, and gunther especially for tracking such great drums on this. out now everywhere. recorded/mixed/mastered at the crypt. art by @luisxramirez . rest in peace aaron.
