As mentioned in my previous post that I was the top pick for this opportunity. Tbh I spent my whole life fighting to become the top tier in the industry. It always felt like I was almost there but not just quite there.
With this opportunity it finally felt like I was seen in all areas. My talent of course. But also me being a dark skin woman (SN: me being on thicker side 😅), me being goofy, me sharing my life’s struggle, me showing up with a bright smile, just me being authentically me.
So when y’all seen me crying in my other post. It’s because I spent 12 years fighting to be seen and heard in this industry. That’s not including 4 years of attending @parsonsschoolofdesign . It’s been a long time coming for sure!
Many of y’all seen me not only create crazy things. But also seen me go through life! Struggling with depression, hospitalize for a mental breakdown, loosing my grandma, move to Cali, move back from Cali, getting hit by a car, getting back on my feet. And many other things.
This was my breakthrough, our breakthrough. Because without y’all tuning into my life even on days I didn’t want to. Yall kept me going. I never considered y’all followers. Yall my friends, cousins, aunties etc. most importantly my supporters!
I appreciate everyyyy last one of yalll like forreal!! This is just the beginning! 📈

Secondly I cried because I spent the last 12 years of my life building a successful brand/ business. I spent a lot of nights wondering if I was doing the right thing. I spent many days wanting to give up. When I watched this video all those questions was finally answered! I did the right thing! I didn’t GIVE UP! I KEPT GOING!
Even though I will no longer be using this page as my main page. I am grateful for all 13.6k supporters who stuck around for this journey. Y’all seen me go through sooo much and y’all rooted for me every step of the way! I created with y’all, I laughed with y’all, I danced with y’all, I healed with y’all. I never considered y’all followers. I always considered y’all supporters of a brand that we brought to life!
This not the end! This is a start to a NEW ERA!
