A legacy of compassion in action. ❤️ Honoring Juanita Floyd, 2026 recipient of @rrc_tupelo ’s Red Rasperry Humanitarian Award. Congratulations, Juanita!
The closing of our State of the Region event is always a highlight, marked by the presentation of the Jack Reed, Sr. Community Leadership Awards by the CREATE Foundation Board. Last year, we had the privilege of honoring three outstanding individuals whose contributions made a lasting impact. We look forward to celebrating and recognizing another group of exceptional leaders this year on Wednesday, May 6. 💛
Strong partnerships make strong communities 🤝
Tupelo Community Coordinator, Kim Rushing, and CREATE’s Director of Regional Impact, Suzy Bowman had the honor of hosting leadership from MEMA Individual Assistance along with federal partners across Northeast Mississippi. Together, they’re working to strengthen advocacy and support for our region as recovery efforts continue following Ice Storm Fern.
Collaboration like this is key. By bringing together resources, expertise, and compassion, we are designing long-term recovery plans. By aligning efforts and leveraging charitable contributions, we can better support individuals and organizations not just in the aftermath, but before, during, and long after impactful events.
With an all-star lineup, this year’s State of the Region is bound to be the best yet. 🌟
We’re diving right into regional leadership in action and areas in our region that need our attention now.
Let’s engage, elevate, and empower together on Wednesday, May 6 at 9:30 AM @ Cadence Conference Center. 🤝 No registration required.
