Mount Tamalpais in Marin County never fails to provide views. Simply enter “Mount Tamalpais” on maps and follow the ridge road up.
🚗 Park:
There are small roadside pullouts and designated lots. It can get busy around sunset and on the weekend, so come early to grab a good spot. Please be mindful as you are passing the homes, and safe with your parking choices.
🧺 Bring:
In-N-Out & a blanket is the perfect formula. Keep it simple, enjoying the views & see conversations about life. Plus a jacket for later.
⏰ Time:
30–45 minutes before sunset so you can catch golden hour and stay through the pink skies.
💡 Need to know:
• It can get windy & cold fast as the fog rolls in
• There is limited cell service in some areas
• Pack out all trash & belongings upon leaving
• Check fog before you go, it is a mountain

We realized we aren’t the typical “date night” kind of couple.
While we love a bougie restaurant or luxury getaway, we feel most connected sharing these small moments in beautiful places.
📍Pack a picnic and head to Kirby Cove for a date experience that is unforgettable for less. Located in Marin County, hidden under the Marin Headlands.
🥾There is an easy one mile walk down on a service road. The uphill is steep but the incline is consistent which makes it totally doable with a bag full of snacks and cameras.
🚙 Park near or at Battery Spencer.
Also accessible by bike & motorcycle.
📝Need to know:
• Check the tides before you go - especially if you plan on exploring the magic this spot has to offer.
• Marin Headlands & Battery Spencer are very well loved tourist spots! Weekends will be packed and parking sparse. Be mindful of Spring Break coming up!

On May 16th, 2022 a boy walked into a bar in Bend, Oregon.
Specifically @riverpigsaloon 🐷
Our love story would start as a classic set up.
The short version?
Stina saw Conner, said “that one” and he was. In the middle there was something about a Tall Guy’s Club, some major c*ck blocking and a missing pet turtle.
This year, we started documenting our shared love of exploration, food, travel and trying new things together.

Once inside, you are greeted with a sleek atmosphere & warm welcomes.
🪑🌊 Kuro Nami translates to Black Wave, which is reflected in the sleek design and minimalist decor.
You have many seating options, including the bar, indoor or patio.
💡Voted “Best New Restaurant in Marin County” in 2025 by the @marin_ij , the love for this culinary experience hasn’t slowed.

There is metered street parking along the main San Anselmo strip, limited neighborhood parking and a small parking lot located just behind the restaurant itself.

In our opinion, you should expect to pay a premium for fresh fish - in fact you want to.
And for how fresh the fish here is?
The pricing is incredibly reasonable.
Expect around $100-$150 for a date night depending on how many rolls you’re willing to share. 😉

This ~.25 mile walk includes sweeping views of San Francisco, ocean wildlife, historical landmarks, the cutest dogs in Marin, benches to soak it all in and can be extended up to 3 miles if you’re up for a full adventure.
Grab a drink to go from our fave @malibufarmtiburon & extend an invite to someone you want to get to now a little better.

Located on the waterfront, this popular dining spot showcases sweeping views of the famous San Francisco skyline.

The decor is contemporary California coastal and immediately feels like you stepped into that hotel you’ve had saved on Pinterest.
The atmosphere is lively, and you can feel the energy of each table sharing stories over delicious, healthy plates.
🍽️ Order:
The menu rotates dependent on the time or day and season. Ingredients are sourced locally and the dishes are vegetable forward.
We completely forgot to order the famous Avacado Pizza but we will be back for that!
Everything we tasted was fresh, light and made with love.

Keeping location, views & fresh ingredients in mind, this spot is higher end when it comes to pricing.

📍 Sula is a Modern American restaurant located at Cavallo Point in Sausalito, California.
This contemporary setting offers fresh, seasonal, farm-to-table ingredients.
There is indoor and outdoor seating available.
⭐️ TCM Tip: request an outdoor table around sunset for stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge. 🌉
You do not have to be a guest at Cavallo Point to enjoy the restaurant.
🍽️ What We Ordered:
I enjoyed a Sausalito Sunset and Conner sipped the Smoking Katana.
We were surprised with the Hoisin Beef Bao & Crispy Spring Vegetables as starters.
For our mains, we split the Pan Roasted Mahi Mahi & the Gluten Free Mushroom and Chard Ravioli.
Our dessert was also a lovely surprise from the team.
With gluten free and vegan options, you can find something for everyone.
We were very pleasantly surprised with our dishes. Stina was drooling over the Bao and we both agreed that you would never know that the Ravioli was gluten free.
With large booths available, this is also a wonderful location for group dinners.
