šŸ’›šŸ’žĀ ROOM TO BREATHEĀ šŸ’žšŸ’› I don’t read as much young adult as I used to, but there are some authors who feel so nostalgic to me that I have to pick up their new releases—and Kasie West is definitely one of them. Room to Breathe was super cute, featuring a second-chance romance between two ex-best friends who end up locked in a bathroom together. I enjoyed the dual timelines that flash between the present and their past friendship—it added a lot of heart to their story. The romance was sweet, as always. Kasie West continues to be a reliable comfort author for me! I really need to finally dive into her adult romance books this year! šŸ’Ā Who is your nostalgic author that you’ll always pick up a book by? Thank you to @penguinteenca and @netgalley for the copy! ——— #RoomtoBreathe #KasieWest #YoungAdultBooks #YAContemporary #BookReview Bookstagram

āš–ļøšŸ‘©šŸ¼ā€āš–ļøĀ COURTROOM DRAMAĀ šŸ‘©šŸ¼ā€āš–ļøāš–ļø As soon as I heard this one described as Legally Blonde meets The Real Housewives, I knew I had to read it. I enjoyed this one! It was a fun, lighthearted read—the premise did not disappoint. The little Housewives-inspired moments had me giggling throughout, and it made the reading experience even more fun for me since I’m such a fan of the Housewives franchise. It’s also a cute second-chance romance, but I think I may have loved the pop culture references more than the romance itself šŸ˜…Ā Overall, it was such a fun and entertaining read. Something I would recommend even if you’re not a fan of The Real Housewives! šŸ’Ā What’s your favourite reality TV show to watch? ——— #CourtroomDrama #NeelyTubatiAlexander #SecondChanceRomance #RomanceBookstagram #Bookstagram

šŸ’›šŸ’Ā THE MEASURE šŸ’šŸ’› The Measure was my book club pick back in September, and honestly, I don’t think I would have picked it up otherwise—but I’m so glad I did! It’s so different from anything I’ve read before and led to some interesting conversations with my book club. I really enjoyed the concept and the overall premise. It’s one of those books that sticks with you and makes you think long after you’ve finished. I definitely wouldn’t want to receive a string that tells me the length of my life, but it was such an interesting concept to read about and see how all the characters dealt with it. I’m definitely interested in picking up more from Nikki Erlick in the future! šŸ’Ā What’s a book outside of your comfort zone that you would recommend others try? ——— #TheMeasure #NikkiErlick #BookClubPick #ReadWithJenna #Bookstagram

ā›µā˜€ļø IF ALL ELSE SAILS ā˜€ļøā›µ I read If All Else Sails a while ago now, but it’s such a cute and cozy read. It’s a lighthearted story with some sweet romance, fun characters, and humorous moments throughout. I really love Emma St. Clair’s writing, so I’m always excited to pick up one of her books—she’s definitely one of my favourite authors to read on Kindle Unlimited. I still have a lot of her backlist to catch up on though šŸ˜‚ šŸ’ Who’s your go-to comfort author on Kindle Unlimited? ——— #IfAllElseSails #EmmaStClair #ContemporaryRomance #Romance #KindleUnlimitedRomance

šŸŽ„šŸŽ€Ā MERRY CHRISTMAS, YOU FILTHY ANIMAL šŸŽ€šŸŽ„ This is my last holiday share of the new year—but because it’s Meghan Quinn, I had to squeeze it in. I’m a huge fan of her books, so this holiday romance was a must-read, and it was SO fun. Definitely cheesy in places, but it’s exactly what I needed—laugh-out-loud moments and genuinely fun characters. And the Home Alone nods were really well done! It was the perfect read to help cap off my extremely weird reading year. I’m officially counting down until the next Kringletown Christmas release, Christmas Staycation! šŸ’Ā Have you read any of Meghan Quinn’s books? 🄐✨ BE READY WHEN THE LUCK HAPPENS ✨🄐 My aunt was such a huge fan of Ina Garten’s, and I’ve always had an appreciation for her myself—especially her shows! Be My Guest is such a fun and unique premise that I always enjoy watching. Getting to dive into her life story in this memoir was really engaging! Ina is so determined and passionate, and I truly feel there’s so much to learn from her experiences and the guidance she shares. I love her outlook on life, the way she approaches challenges, and how she’s built the life and career she has today. This was definitely my favourite non-fiction read of 2025, and I can absolutely see myself re-reading it in the future. It’s perfect for longtime fans and anyone just discovering her! šŸ’ Do you enjoy reading memoirs? šŸŽ„āœØ GOOD SPIRITS āœØšŸŽ„ I know it’s the New Year, but it’s never too late to share a few holiday reads I squeezed in this December. Good Spirits was my December book club pick, and while it didn’t completely blow me away, I still enjoyed it. It was light, cozy, and exactly the kind of easy, comforting read I needed during a busy month. I really enjoy B.K. Borison’s writing, and I’m really excited to see where this series goes when the next book releases. Now I clearly need to catch up on her backlist šŸ˜… šŸ’ What holiday reads did you squeeze in this year? Any favourites? ——— #GoodSpirits #BKBorison #Romance #ContemporaryRomance #BookReview

✨ TOP 10 BOOKS OF 2025 ✨ I finally decided on my top ten favourite books of the year—and I’ll be honest, this one was hard. But here they are, in no particular order! • Wild Love by Elsie Silver • The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah • The Favorites by Layne Fargo • Maid for Each Other by Lynn Painter • One Golden Summer by Carley Fortune • Save Me by Mona Kasten • Till Summer Do Us Part by Meghan Quinn • Every Summer After by Carley Fortune • Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros • Be Ready When the Luck Happens by Ina Garten 2025 was a really weird reading year for me. I re-read a lot, didn’t always feel super motivated to read, and while I juuuuust made my goal of reading 50 books, I very much failed at most of my other reading goals and challenges šŸ˜… Three of the books on this list were re-reads (Every Summer After, Fourth Wing and Wild Love), which honestly just solidifies them as true all-time favourites in my book. Even though this year made it tricky to pick out big standouts, there are a few stories that really stayed with me—The Great Alone, One Golden Summer, and Be Ready When the Luck Happens all left a lasting impression after reading them. All of these books were favourites in their own way, and I’m so grateful for every story that made my reading year what it was. I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings to my reading life šŸ¤šŸ“š šŸ’ What were some of your favourite reads of 2025? ——— #bestbooksof2025 #bookstoread #favouritebooksof2025 #bookstack

šŸŽ„Ā DECEMBER READING WRAP UP! I can’t believe it’s the end of December! I feel like a broken record at this point, but time really is flying. I’m so excited for the fresh start that comes with January, though—both in life and with my reading. It’s always so nice to start a brand new month (and year) with a reset! My reading this year has been so inconsistent. For the first time in a long time, I almost didn’t hit my reading goal. But I managed to squeeze it in by the end! I’m really looking forward to seeing what my reading year is like in 2026! I read 9 books in December—all 2025 releases, with a mix of non-fiction, fiction, and some fun Christmas novellas. Here are the books I read in December: • Be Ready When the Luck Happens by Ina Garten • Over the Influence by JoJo • Good Spirits by B.K. Borison • Merry Christmas, You Filthy Animal by Meghan Quinn • Snow Place Like Home by Laura Pavlov • Merry & Bright by Ali Rosen • All Wrapped Up in You by Rosie Danan • You Better Not Pout by Mia Sosa • Fake Skating by Lynn Painter I’m so glad I ended the year with a good reading month because I enjoyed everything I read! My favourites this month were Be Ready When the Luck Happens (who doesn’t love Ina Garten??), Merry Christmas, You Filthy Animal, and Fake Skating ā˜ŗļø How was your reading in December? šŸš¤ā˜€ļø ONE GOLDEN SUMMER ā˜€ļøšŸš¤ From the minute I heard about One Golden Summer, I couldn't wait to read Charlie's story—and it did not disappoint! This story was sweet, nostalgic, and everything I hoped it would be. And re-reading Every Summer After just before jumping in made for an even more enjoyable and connected experience. Charlie has always been a favourite, and seeing him step into the spotlight made me love him even more. His story with Alice is tender, romantic, and full of heart—the perfect mix of emotion, humour, and golden summer nostalgia. And those Barry’s Bay lake vibes? Pure perfection. I'm seriously on the lookout for yellow boats all the time now 🤭 šŸ’ Are you excited for the Every Summer After adaptation? šŸ’–šŸ« SAVE YOU šŸ«šŸ’– Currently reading Save You by Mona Kasten, and I’m down to the last 6%! I’m really enjoying it—it’s full of the same drama, romance, and addictive energy that I loved so much in the first book. I’m so excited to see how this one plays out on screen when season two of Maxton Hall releases, and I can’t wait to dive into book three soon. This series has definitely become a new favourite! šŸ’ Do you like reading books before or after watching the adaptation?
