✨ Thank you for being part of The CoMuseum Conference 2025 ✨ Since we closed this special edition of The CoMuseum Conference, we are filled with gratitude, inspiration, and—most of all—hope. Celebrating 15 years of CoMuseum gave us a moment to imagine together the future of museums as spaces of hope, care, imagination, healing, and resilience. With 🔷 37 speakers from the UK and across the EU, 🔷 8 hours of plenary and 9 hours of masterclasses, 🔷 a 4-hour participatory workshop and advocacy discussion, we came together to reflect, question, and reimagine. Together, we will continue to explore big and urgent questions: ❔ How can we prepare museum professionals not just to react, but to act in the face of global challenges? ❔ How can CoMuseum better support you and your institutions in meeting these challenges and achieving your goals? ❔ And how do we stay hopeful while navigating the uncertainties of tomorrow? Thank you to all our speakers, facilitators, partners, sponsors, volunteers and participants for joining us! The CoMuseum is organised by @thebenakimuseum #britishcouncilgreece @britishcouncileurope #comuseum2025 #thebenakimuseum #britishcouncilgreece #museumsandhope #museumsrevisited

International Museum Day 2026: Museums Uniting a Divided World Museums across the globe, come together to mark International Museum Day under the theme “Museums Uniting a Divided World.” This year’s theme highlights the vital role museums can play as bridges across cultural, social, and geopolitical divides — fostering dialogue, understanding, inclusion, and peace within and between communities worldwide. Throughout the years, The CoMuseum International Conference, has served as a platform for exchange and critical reflection across borders, disciplines, and communities, bringing together museum professionals, artists, scholars, policymakers, and cultural practitioners from around the world. Rooted in the belief that museums can act as civic spaces of connection and understanding, The CoMuseum has consistently explored how museums can foster empathy, challenge polarisation, and strengthen democratic and inclusive societies. In this spirit, CoMuseum will continue to serve this cause, supporting museums as active agents in building more connected and equitable futures — with people at the centre. #InternationalMuseumDay #IMD2026 #MuseumsUnitingADividedWorld #MuseumsUniteTheWorld #MuseumDay2026 #MuseumsForPeace #CultureForUnity #MuseumInclusion #MuseumsForAll #CultureConnects #MuseumCommunity #MuseumStories #ArtEducation #GlobalMuseums #Heritage
