FROM LA WITH LOVE sends A HUGE Thank you to everyone who donated relief items in LA on Nov 8th and holiday drive w Jae Murphy. YOUR relief reached Jamaica just in time for Christmas, bringing toys, school supplies, and new shoes to the youth. Our hearts our filled and will continue helping underserved communities in Jamaica.
From Los Angeles, From LA With Love we shipped over 4,000 pounds of clothing, essential items, food, toys, shoes, and school supplies, which were distributed across Ginger Hill, Orange, and Catadupa in the parish of St. James.
From that, we put together 1,000 bags with food, daily essentials, pampers, wipes, and feminine care products, reaching communities still without electricity, navigating damaged and deteriorating mountain roads, downed power lines, and communities still facing the ongoing effects of the hurricane.
A special thank you to the communities of St. James for welcoming us, and special appreciation to MP Nekeisha Burchell (South St James) for her support and presence.
Our Jamaica logistics partner, Strike Star Entertainment team @chelou802 led by Ricky Lee, made Phase 2 possible through on-the-ground coordination and transport. Thank you as well to Ka$e and Yaadcore for showing up and helping throughout the distribution.

In less than 4 days of organizing and 7 hours of an open donation drive, every single reshare, repost, and word of mouth made this a success — with over 60 barrels still to be packed and more items still coming in!
I’ve never organized a charity drive before, and truthfully, I just knew we had to do it now. No long talking — we just executed! What I witnessed was nothing short of beautiful. From the first person who arrived to the last barrel sealed, every single one of you showed up with heart, intention, and love for Jamaica. 🇯🇲
Watching the LA community come together for Jamaica left me speechless. The emotions were overwhelming — I was choked up at times, and I know many of us felt the same.
This was more than a relief effort. It was a reminder of who we are as a people — resilient, generous, and bound by love that stretches far beyond borders.
You reminded me that when we move with love and unity, we can do anything. 💚💛🖤 We are more than a nation; we are a force of culture, courage, and community.
