This project stands in solidarity with the people of Gaza and all Palestinians resisting genocide and systemic oppression. While we recognize and support international efforts like the @globalsumudflotilla to break the siege, we remember that the story is not the boats — the story is the ongoing massacre and starvation of the Palestinian people.
We join forces with these international efforts to shine a light on those unjustly suffering, to amplify their voices, and to demand an end to the ongoing siege and genocide enabled by our governments.
We draw inspiration from the music of a Palestinian artist @zaidhilalofficial whose song we dance to as an act of love, resilience, and resistance and we are grateful to @ahmedmuin_abuamsha for using his voice and creativity in sharing it with the world from Gaza.
Their art reminds us that even in the darkest times, culture and spirit endure.
This work is for Palestine.
