Sustainability gets mentioned a lot in coffee. But what does it actually mean in practice?
In our @specialtycoffeeassociation Sustainability Foundation course, we dive deep into the concept beyond the buzzword, exploring how environmental, social, and economic dimensions show up across the coffee value chain.
Through real examples, shared discussions, and key frameworks shaping the coffee sector today, this course creates space to better understand how sustainability is defined, applied, and challenged in different contexts.

Two years ago, @witoca_coffee and @sarawarmi built @yuyarina.pacha a community library in the Ecuadorian Amazon, a space for reading, learning, and imagination. Today, they are taking the next step 📚🛵
Through a mobile library, they will bring books, learning materials, and educator training to communities that cannot easily access their main space, ensuring that learning can continue beyond a single place!
“If communities cannot come to the library, the library will go to the communities.” 🙌
