We’re thrilled to share that The Cave Series is returning for our 25-26 season - a full year of monthly performances from the underground.
This season continues our commitment to showcasing adventurous, boundary-pushing artists in sound, from experimental noise to ambient textures, from intimate solo sets to expansive collaborative projects.

Since The Cave Series began, we’ve been thrilled to present three performances from the cave during our 23/24 season: Jane in the Garden on April 5th, 2024, Ziyi Huang on June 16th, 2024, and Zay on August 31st, 2024.
Now, we’re launching into the 24/25 season with a full lineup of monthly concerts and live streams! This project has truly been a labor of love, entirely funded from our own pockets — but to keep the music alive, we need your support.

The School of Hard Knocks has been an active creation since 1980, a firebrand in the post-modern dance scene of NYC producing thought-provoking work.

The Cave Series is beyond excited to present MIZU this Saturday March 14, at 3pm.
“Frequently gorgeous, at times unsettling, and constantly in flux” (Pitchfork), MIZU explores themes of transformation and the infinite possibilities of self through her singular cello playing and daring performances. Trained as a cellist at Juilliard, her experimental practice sees her transforming self-recorded explorations on her instrument into bold and distinct soundscapes.
Her works 4 | 2 | 3, Forest Scenes, and Distant Intervals received critical praise and attention from platforms such as Pitchfork, The FADER, NOWNESS Asia, Bandcamp Daily, The New York Times, New Sounds, Stereogum, and Them.

The Cave Series is thrilled to present Alix Tucou this Saturday February 28, at 7:30pm.
With Interactions between soundscapes and electronic music elements, Alix Tucou improvise with his Bass Trombone to create an imaginary path to different entities or concepts. His latest work is focusing on portraying Visual Artists with rendering in Music the specific emotion that struck me while studying and looking at the work of those Visual Artists.

Sick To The Back Teeth is a solo recording project by Chris M with no genre constraints. Surrealist art and experimental audio since 2002. Noise, electronics, homemade instruments, etc. Forty-four albums released in 2025. Based in Brooklyn, NY.

The Cave Series is thrilled to present The Light Hit Your Eye by Andy Marlowe, June 15th (happy Father’s Day) at 6-9p.
Andy Marlowe is an artist and writer from the Forgotten Coast of Florida. They received their BFA in Creative Writing and Studio Art from Florida State University and served as an apprentice at the Fabric Worksho and Museum in Philadelphia. They are currently based between Brooklyn and Queens.
This will be an in person event and there will be a video walk though on caveseries.org/livestream.
The Cave Series is excited to present Bonechurch on May 10, at 3p et.
Bonechurch has been crafting DIY dark ambient, isolationism, noise, and experimental abstracts since 1999. This sound bending solo project of Machine Tribe Recordings label head Ben Hudgins was once best described as “leaving big caterpillar tread-marks on genre boundaries instead of shattering them, pulverizes influences instead of paying homage”.
