I rewatched the first film and it brought back so many memories of my first jobs in NY as a 20yo Art Director/Web Designer for People Magazine, Parents, Fitness, YM, etc... At one point I even worked in the same building from the movie!! And I’ll never forget how I showed up in a new skirt-suit trying to look ‘professional’ as my boss was the first to call out the price tag still sticking out on my back - total Andy Sachs moment 😂
So cool to hear Aline’s thoughts about her writing process, collaboration, pitching... especially loved how she kind of approached writing like a puzzle - if you get stuck on something, just ‘skip it!’ and piece together the surroundings until the answer reveals itself. She also had some million dollar advice on how not to be ‘aggressively boring’ when pitching 😉
