„Hyperthermia“ erzählt die Geschichte des ersten Lebewesens im All, der Hündin Laika 🐕 , die 1957 in die Umlaufbahn geschickt wurde, und wirft die Frage auf, ob ihr tragischer Tod hätte verhindert werden können.
Der Song wurde bereits als Studioversion auf dem 2025 erschienenen Album „PATHWAYS“ veröffentlicht. Die aktuelle Live-Version, aufgenommen im bekannten @stressstudio in Graz, überzeugt jedoch mit einer zusätzlichen Portion Energie und Emotion - genau so, wie man es von einer Live-Performance erwartet. 🔊

»“Hyperthermia” deals with the story of the first living being in space, the dog Laika, who was launched into orbit in 1957, and raises the question of whether her tragic death could have been prevented. THE BURNING FLAGS join a long list of artists who have already explored this subject with this track. Nevertheless, the band manages to present the theme in a very distinctive, intense, and authentic way. The song had already been released as a studio version on the 2025 album “Pathways.” The current live version, recorded at the well-known Stress Studio in Graz, stands out with an extra touch of energy and emotion—just as one would expect from a live performance.«
