Music discovery is an amazing thing. Going through an artist’s full discography could reveal gems and tracks you would’ve never heard in the wild because they don’t get talked about often, and sometimes, those are the best ones.
That’s one of the reasons I decided to review #BabyTheStarsShineBright by #EverythingButTheGirl. Known for their signature trip-hop and drum ‘n bass style towards the tail end of the 90s, at the beginning of their careers, their music was more jazz oriented.
Then, we get to 1986, and the album is fully orchestrated. I took a serious liking to this one, and you can read why at the link in my bio! - D*
