2026 STORY 2/12: “Make What You Want”
Brian McMaster has been in worship ministry since he was nineteen. Playing drums at twelve, guitar at eighteen, and a band in his early twenties with dreams to make it. After stepping away from full-time worship leadership, he entered a season marked by scarcity, pressure, and deep spiritual formation. What followed was not platform expansion, but alignment.
This story is about beauty that points beyond itself. About storms that form us. About choosing presence over performance. Brian also shares the heart behind New Day Dawning (on Spotify now), the song he composed for the Let Known Skate To Recover documentary in South Sudan.

Writing today. I think whatever revival is, Beauty is the catalyst, the process, and the result of it. Truth and Goodness are incomplete without Beauty, and vice versa. The invitation of Christ is not to just parrot Truth, mimic Goodness, or admire Beauty, but to be consumed by all that is True and Good and Beautiful, to become one with He who Is, and to live out the life of Christ not as people who are trying to do what we ought to do, but as people who are becoming as we ought to be. Anyway. Been on the internet a little too much lately. Gonna get back to making something.
