Many of these your first ever dress…
The way that you all sew up designer looking dresses and it’s from my pattern 🥹 I’m blown away.
Jen (third slide) said “@theboldone_ this is amazing. I have plans for more. Wore it to work today with sneakers... next week I think for Graduation with heals.”
Nearly every dress you see is linen, with a couple of cotton makes that give a slightly crisper look.
Want to check out the sewing pattern? Comment Rossi and I’ll send you the link x😍💛
It’s all in how the wrap works, and of course it has to have pockets 💛💖
The dream is to create sewing patterns that are an easy sew but make a designer looking dress 🥹
This one’s for the ones who wish they could sew, as it’s been the ‘first piece of clothing’ for so many of you 😍
You have been sending me the prettiest makes of your Rossi/Fredy dresses, I’m excited to share them all this week 💖💖
If you want to check out the Sewing pattern, comment ‘fredy’ and I can Dm it to you x
… I think I just made my new favourite dress, and I’ve created a beginner at home sewing pattern so you can make it at home too.
Comment 'bundle' and I will DM you the link to the pattern so you can check it out! xx
I’ve included different necklines, sleeve options, and lengths for different heights. As well as a full sew along video. Size 6-30🌻😍
Winner of the giveaway; @lovejohandmade 💕💕
Celebrating all of you and your sews, and how you are making @theboldone_ not so little anymore 😳🥹❤️ thank you thank you thank you for changing my life x
Hold the screen down to see a sew for longer… anyone see their own sew in here?! Comment if you can!
This is I’d say 1% of the photos you have shared of your sews from the Rossi / Fredy sewing pattern, and the Gracie. At a quick glance, to tell the difference the Gracie’s are the short dresses! X
I want her version IMMEDiately. Hold me back from finding some cute polka dot fabric 🥹😍. Anyone found polka dot duvet covers or sheets to upcycle using the Rossi/Fredy?
It brings me soooo much happiness that honestly 1/2 time I’m tagged in your sews the fabric is from second hand duvet covers or sheets etc. It may sound weird, but they make beautiful looking dresses, a more affordable option for fabric, and we love repurposing!!
@romaandthread you created absolute perfection with your version of the fredy sewing pattern.
For those who want the link to the pattern, comment Fredy x

And now we have already passed that milestone 🥹👀 a little bit about me and TBO in this vid! Comment below introducing yourself, where you are in the world, and whether you sew already, would love to, or just here for the vibes x
Curious as well, I’ve mentioned why I love sewing at the end of the video, is this the same for you or different?
From one size 6-30 sewing pattern 👀👀 no zips or tricky closures, the Rossi/Fredy has got your back x
I update the pattern every little while to incorporate your feedback. If you have already bought the pattern, your update can be found at the link in your original confirmation email (check out the faq page on website if you can’t find this!)
The recent update for Rossi/Fredy that was uploaded in April to the files includes:
- Updated information pack with new illustrations and refined steps
- Print at home pattern now has ability to print on letter and A4 paper size
- All projector files updated and uploaded
- Updated pocket construction, so much easier!
- Full print-at-home instructions video
- Pattern files refined and enhanced
- A0 pattern files with fonts embedded for print ease
If you want to use the update and have printed off the pattern already, that’s fine! You simply need to print off the ‘previous customers only’ 2 page file found in the pattern files for the new pocket bag ☺️.
Comment Rossi for the link to the sewing pattern x
I’m just going to leave this here… Melanie’s email to me for you to get fabric inspo from and all the feels!
“You actually will not believe it. I’m a massive fan of upcycling fabrics and sourcing them in different ways keeping cost to a minimum.
The blue check gingham was bought from my local haberdashery shop in the UK. 4 metres was about £16.
The strawberry one was a king size duvet cover! So much fabric with the bonus of a double amount as the back of the duvet has pink tiny gingham! Another dress on the way! £12 cost
Wait for this…. The pink one was bought at a charity sale which was a flat bed sheet, 100% cotton for 50p!!! Yes 50p
It was initially used to test out the pattern but it turned out too good not to wear.
This trip was so special too as it was a gift from my son, we spent the weekend together in Paris and it honestly was a weekend I will treasure for the rest of my life, my heart feels full ❤️
Thankyou for letting your design be a part of it too”
I’ve got all the warm fuzzies. Thank you Melanie and all of you who share your TBO stories. Melanie has also given me an idea with her snaps in Paris that I’m going to work on and share with you soon…
This had me scrolling the posts of this page for sure…
Seeing you hype each other up about your sews from my sewing pattern, and on some posts I hadn’t even seen, was a very surreal feeling. This is not just me and my designs anymore it’s you taking them further and creating a community through your sews with @theboldone_
Excited about your sew as a beginner and want to share it? Absolutely beginning sewing Facebook group is a very cool group and where these were posted!!

Hold me baaaack. I often get asked if I’d make my wedding dress which is a valid question!! All I can say is the type of dress I want is a whole different ball game and these wedding dress designers know how to get it done wow 🤤 BUT trying on beautiful dresses today has inspired me to 1000% do my bridesmaid dresses in my new design I draped a few posts ago. 😍😍 can’t wait to show you it all!!
The temptation to make one of my top 2 dresses I tried on the cover photo to this reel 👀😅
