Happy May Day 💫. #The founders mindset. Currently listening to the platform and I am reminded again of the journey and the grit required. Most importantly reminded that failure is a part of the journey, not one that defines it. Thankful for everything BBartistry has brought into my life. The opportunities, the networks, the victories and the frustrations. Everything is coming together to tell a powerful and impactful story.

You stopped enjoying the little things of life because the big things got harder…. Wrong move. Focus your eyes on the little things, the things that have been given to you freely. Oxygen, your smile, a long walk or even a nap. Life is truly beautiful and the little things make it even better.

We don't have all the answers……. As a founder I am always interested in hearing from other builders and each time I listen, there is always a question I am left with, “are we all okay sha?”. Building would test you in ways you could never imagine. Crazy new problems arise everyday and like the magician that you are you see yourself having a solution to every problem so much that sometimes your team wants you to do the thinking for them (that's jist for another day) I love having these conversations because most times the problem you are trying to solve has been solved by another founder. Those small talks carry the power to change your mindset on how you view and address challenges. Before you know it, you become skilled at problem solving. My mentor doesn't make me feel like my problems are small, Instead I have come to realise that it's the same problems in different capacities. I am learning to lean more into the craziness of this journey, take breaks when needed and truly realize that there is truly no end to it. Everyday there is a problem you carry the solution to. It's simple, if you are building something you are carrying the light the world needs. #theblessingbashir

Happy Mother’s Day to me, it’s my life’s greatest honor to be a mum to my son’s. Though they call my name a million times in a day, I would t change it for anything in the world. The best part is how they always act like every meal I make for them is the very first meal they have ever had. The excitement is out of this world. The multiple hugs and kisses calms my nerves all the time, making me realize that my world truly revolves around them. I am so grateful for my boys. And to my mummy, I still call her name multiple times, especially in between challenges sets at the gym or whenever something is starting to feel unbearable. Saying mummy! For me it was the soul behind it, the intent behind it, the pursuit of perfection and the acceptance of our short comings. Happy International women’s day to me and all the amazing women in my life. This year’s campaign theme is “Give to Gain” which is very inspirational. Over the years, I have been supported by amazing women who have supported my journey as an entrepreneur, wife and mum.
