Come spend an evening with Anasa Troutman — the visionary behind The BIG We and Historic Clayborn Temple — as she reflects on the past and looks ahead to the future of one of Memphis' most sacred landmarks.
This intimate members-only event features wine & cheese at 5:30pm followed by a lecture at 6:00pm at Howard Hall. Space is extremely limited, so don't wait to register.
If you're wondering about the future of Clayborn Temple, come join us this evening! Register at memphisheritage.org
It’s been one year since our devastating arson and we want our beloved Memphis community to know that Clayborn Temple IS rebuilding!
Today, we don’t mourn- we move forward hand-in-hand with our community that has provided an overwhelming amount of love and support this past year. With that support pushing us forward, we have had a strong year and are moving forward to a brighter future.

This Monday, Memphis Culture Coalition brings 300+ of those builders into one room for State of the Arts, where the creative community sets the agenda and the mayoral candidates respond.
The narrative about Memphis doesn't change from the outside. It changes from right here.

Memphis is growing its co-op family — and we couldn't be more proud. 🎉
One of our very own COIN 2025 cohort members is opening her doors for the very first time, and that deserves to be celebrated!
@takos_secondhand , a funky, vintage, quality thrift shop that is cooperatively owned, is officially having its Grand Opening this Wednesday, April 1st (yes, really 😄) from 10 AM – 6 PM at 240 Madison Ave, Ste. 101 (The Commonwealth).
When we say COIN is building something real in Memphis and across the Mid-South, this is what we mean. Co-ops are not just ideas — they become storefronts, communities, and living proof that we can build differently, together.
Head out and show Tako's Secondhand some love this Wednesday. 🛍️
