We met in 2018 at church, and at that time, I was just a young girl attending my elder sisterβs church because I had no other choice of where to go.
Back then, there were different narratives about me because I never stayed back for youth meetings, I always went home immediately after service.
I later got to know that some people actually wanted to get close to me, but I usually left right after the service.
So, I told myself that I was going to become close to one of the instrumentalists in the church, partly because of my love for instruments, and also to prove people wrong and show that I was willing to relate with them.
Out of everyone, I chose my man because, at that time, he was like a younger church bro to my sister and it will be easier that way for me.
The next time, my sister was not in church, so I had to come alone with her children. He walked up to me and asked about her, even though he had another intention which I wasnβt aware of at the timeπ.
Then, all of a sudden, he asked me to put my number into the insufficient space phone he was using then π€£π€£.
I gave him my number because I had already made up my mind to talk to him, just to prove the other youths wrong that I also wanted to be close to them as well.
We started talking as friends, and after a while, our friendship blossomed into a relationship. After 7 years of being together, here we are today..
