10 years ago when I found my calling as a filmmaker, I had only one dream - that someday, everyone will have access to my story from every corner of the universe.
Today, that dream has been fulfilled as I make my debut appearance on a global platform with The Fisherman.
The Fisherman was that one film I didn’t prepare for. It was birthed in my friend’s office
@_natefranklin on August 21, 2024. I wrote the script in 24 hours, prepped for 2 weeks, started shooting Sept. 6 and filmed only for 4 days.
Who could have believed that story that received the least amount of prepping would be the divine vessel to usher me into a global platform?
So hear me, my friend, everybody can dream, but not everyone has the discipline to obey when God says move, then trust in his provision and take the first step. When you watch this trailer, and probably the film on prime, I want you to get inspired and also believe that where there’s a will, there’s always a way.
Not forgetting to mention my powerhouse team, David Ingerson, Toni, Barbara, Felix, Matthew, Ian, Marc, and my very patient actors, DeAnthony, Gina, Paul, Doris, Vashie, James, etc., we came this far, only because you believed it was possible.
