Playing with the lad is one of the best parts. Seeing him grow as a player and a man. He is 17 this year which blows my mind. Spending time with him without a computer or phone in his hand is amazing.
If you have kid of a similar age please take them outside and touch grass. Whether its fishing, hiking or airsoft etc. Do something. Less time on computers and phones and more time developing relationships and leading the way. Make them hang out with your adult male friends. Let them see what is acceptable. And let your mates punish them when they step out of line. Let them be one of the boys. Let them grow.
