You don’t have to buy donuts from outside ever again because my soft Milk Bread Glazed Donuts are light, fluffy, and melt in your mouth. I used my brioche dough recipe with a slight tweak and you SHOULD DEFINITELY GIVE IT A GO BECAUSE THESE TURN OUT AMAZING.
Ingredients (Milk Bread Dough):
240 g milk
6 tbsp flour (for tangzhong)
4 eggs, chilled
2 tbsp vegetable oil
100g sugar
1½ tsp salt
6 g yeast
490 g bread flour
113 g butter, chilled
Method:
Cook milk + 6 tbsp flour on low heat until a thick paste forms. Cool completely.
Add eggs, oil, sugar, salt, yeast, bread flour, and tangzhong to a bowl. Knead for 10–15 minutes until smooth. Add chilled butter gradually and knead until elastic and passes the windowpane test.
Let rise at room temperature for an hour.
Punch down the dough and roll it out to about 2-inch thickness. Cut donut shapes using a cutter and place each donut on parchment paper squares. Cover and proof for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
Fry until golden brown and fluffy.
Cinnamon Sugar Glaze:
100 g hot water
429 g powdered sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp salt
A dash of vanilla
Mix until smooth and glossy. Dip freshly fried donuts into the glaze while still warm ✨🍩

Toasted Banana Iced Matcha Latte has been on mind since I had it at @doubleshotlhr
Recreated it and it SLAPPEDD 😭💌
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 bananas (half banana sliced for topping, rest for blending)
Toast on a pan on medium high heat and take it off once it is caramelized. Then blend with 1/2 cup cold milk and set this blend aside.
Take 6g matcha powder and 2 tbsp hot water and whisk it. Then lots of ice goes in your glass, the milkshake and then frothy matcha. I topped it with some toasted bananas. Mix and ENJOY.
For my mother’s day dinner, I made the most comforting crispy chicken rice & spice platter because she deserves nothing but the best 🤍✨
Recipe:
1 kg boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes
For the marinade:
½ cup milk
1 tbsp white vinegar or lemon juice (to make buttermilk)
1½ tsp paprika powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning or oregano
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp chicken powder
Salt as per taste
Mix everything together and marinate the chicken for at least 1 hour, but overnight gives the best flavour.
For the coating:
2 cups flour
1½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Mix and keep aside.
Now take about 2 cups of ice cold water.
Using a fork, coat each chicken piece in the flour, dip it in the cold water, then coat it again in the flour for that extra crispy texture. You can also do a single coat if you prefer.
Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy ✨
Serve with masalay wala rice and chilli sauce. I personally love taking chilli garlic sauce and giving it a tadka with 4 tbsp chilli oil because it tastes unreal 🌶️🔥
