I'm so stoked to announce Velvet Fudge will be opening a brick-and-mortar record store/venue in Stillwater, Oklahoma!
This whole concept has been brewing in my head since 2018, and I believe the space we’re in now is perfect to fulfill that vision. Velvet Fudge will have a large selection of both new and used vinyl, CDs, and tapes. In addition, there will be a selection of listening equipment, band merch, and music books. We plan to host live music, listening parties, DJs, and more in the venue space connected to the store.
To celebrate the opening of the store, please join us at 10am on February 7th for a ribbon cutting, free fudge, and the opportunity to be the first to shop our amazing collection of albums! Later that night there will be a killer show headlined by Stillwater’s own alt-metal band,
@dreamsickle_band .
@peoriaband will open the show with their grunge/alternative sound and
@diemart.theband will open the pit with their bass heavy hardcore. View the flyer for more information!
We previously held events under the name The Bait Shop. However, starting February 7th on our grand opening, The Bait Shop will formally be renamed to Velvet Fudge. Still the same people behind the scenes, only renamed for more cohesion with the record store.

I’m beyond excited to start this journey and contribute to the incredible music scene happening in Stillwater right now. There’s so much more to come, and I can’t wait to share the events and services we’re building—this is just the beginning.
