Come walk with me to the Shoman Library at the Azraq Center! Itโs upstairs, - the stairs that are in front of the book mural. Youโll see a massive collection as soon as you walk inโitโs so well-stocked they even have a baby category! Some students spend their whole school day here. ๐๐๐

Today marked the inaugural reading event with the Eqrali (Read for Me) initiative, hosted by the Queen Rania Foundation. Every mother went home with a curated package of books and a year-long reading schedule. It was truly heartening to see the studentsโ joy as they shared a book with their mothers, creating a beautiful, lasting memory for both.

Today at the Queen Rania Foundation in Amman, three of our dedicated teachersโManar, Yusra, and Nourโattended the โIqraliโ training workshop. This initiative empowers them to lead programs within the Azraq community, teaching mothers the vital skills of reading to their children.
Empowering the next generation through the power of reading!
Weโre proud to renew our partnership with the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation under the project โStrengthening Reading Culture to Build an Aware and Empowered Generation,โ continuing our shared commitment to building a strong reading culture in Azraq.

Dear followers and supporters,
Thank you for standing with us this yearโand every year. Your continued belief makes our work
possible.
This year marked a new beginning for many students and a continued journey for others. Together, we celebrated two higher education scholarships, the graduation of over 25 Montessori students, and the participation of 54 Access English students. We expanded opportunities through IT programs, sports activities, and the launch of a hydroponic greenhouse, introducing five new food crops. We also provided academic support for students who needed extra help, and achieved so much more.
We are deeply grateful to be part of our studentsโ journeys and honored to support their growth,
learning, and well-being. Some students and families have returned to Syria, and we are thankful to have been part of their path along the way.
Thank you for believing in the Azraq Fund and for helping us create opportunities, hope, and Lasting impact.

We were delighted to welcome Professor Moaed Al Meselmani and Professor Anthony Ryan from the University of Sheffield today and to share the progress of our hydroponic project.
Seeing the tangible results of Professor Al Meselmaniโs guidance and mentorship firsthand was truly rewarding. His strategic support continues to shape both the direction and impact of this work.
Thank you both for your time, insight, and continued commitment โ your support makes a real difference.
