This week I’ve been preparing for an important pitch, and thinking about why this work matters to me.
I believe we’re missing the right stories.
Too many voices, especially working-class and marginalised voices, aren’t being represented in climate and arts spaces.
Theatre Green exists to create space for those stories to be told.
And sometimes, the best place to figure that out…
is out in the woods with a notebook.
If you're part of the Amps community, you can support this idea by coming along to the Forum next week.

This week, me and my collaborators submitted the slide deck for our pitch to the Community Ideas Fund run by Creative Dundee. 💚🌱
We’ll be presenting our pilot project, Theatre of Change, at the Amps Forum later this month.
The project brings community members together to create a short piece of theatre about a climate or social justice issue, followed by a conversation with the audience.
If you'd like to support community ideas in Dundee, you can attend the Forum - members of the Amps community vote to decide which project receives funding.
You can find more information about the Forum, and how to join, on the Creative Dundee website.

Last week, I submitted an application to the Community Ideas Fund run by Creative Dundee to support our first pilot project, Theatre of Change. 💚🌱
This week, we heard back - and our application was approved.
That means we now have the opportunity to present our idea at the Amps Forum later this month, alongside three other projects. Members of the Amps community will vote to decide which project receives funding.
You can now read about all the projects presenting on the Creative Dundee website.
