All of the trials and tribulations to get to this moment…this record is about being so rooted in your identity. Embodiment of your higher self. This record means so much to me. I learned to know my self so clearly. The certainty I have with every decision I make now came with the genesis and evolution of this record. I first thought I wrote this song talking to a guy who wouldn’t dive in and was timid with me. But after sitting with it for a year and a half I realized it was my high self talking to me about my career. I’ve always known who I was, but I had to unlearn and shed all the projections I somehow picked up along the way thinking that the answers were external. I now know I am the answer.
