We’re excited to launch our new ANSMA Call-Out Form! This is your one-stop sign-up for performances and showcases throughout the year. Sign up once to be considered for ANSMA performances and showcases all year long. If you’re a solo artist, band, DJ, or musician, we want to hear from you.
✨ By completing the form, you’re registering your interest in opportunities such as:
• ANSMA shows and community performances
• Concert series, festivals, and special events
• Music showcases and cultural celebrations
✨ What you’ll need to apply:
• Availability for soundcheck and performance on event day
• A recent performance video (within the past 3–6 months)
• A 15–30 minute set list (please identify originals + covers)

✨ANSMA is looking for a motivated Production Intern to join our team!
This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in live event production while supporting our Annual Canada Day Concert in partnership with Halifax Regional Municipality, taking place July 1 at Alderney Landing.
You’ll be involved in everything from artist coordination and scheduling to on-site production and post-event wrap-up. If you’re organized, passionate about music and culture, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Preference will be given to applicants who identify as Black or African Nova Scotian, and those with experience in events, festivals, or live music.
📍 Dartmouth, Nova Scotia (NS residents only)
📅 2-month contract (May–July 2026)
💰 $1,500 flat fee

Throwback to an unforgettable ANSMA School Tour stop at the Bella Rose Arts Centre last fall 🎭
Located inside Halifax West High School, this incredible community-based performing arts space set the stage for an amazing day of music, connection, and inspiration. Students experienced live performances from Quoia States (@quoiastates ) , Qstatess (@qstatess ) , and Neon Dreams (@neondreams ) , bringing energy and creativity right into the school.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make this tour stop so special. From the artists to the staff, students, and supporters, it was truly a great time and a reminder of the power of music in our communities.
