After many wonderful years in El Segundo, the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum will be closing to the public on October 27, 2024. We are saddened to be leaving, and grateful that we made so many lasting connections in the automotive community. We look forward to our last month open, and welcome everyone to come check us out one last time. We will be open Friday-Sunday 10am-4pm, and we will have Sunday Rides every Sunday in October. Please note that Event Rentals will continue to operate and be booked through the end of December, if you are interested in booking your holiday event please submit an inquiry via our website. Bayside Cafe will continue to open on the weekends until December 29, 2024, and will have occasional cruises!

Southern California is losing a one-of-a-kind museum this Sunday October, 27th–the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum (@theadmorg ) will be closing its doors for good. @tomexploresla stopped by to talk with one of the Museum’s board members to understand why it’s closing and to get a sense of what will be missing from the L.A.-area museumscape once it is gone. So you have 3 chances left to visit the Zimmerman. It’s open this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 am-4 pm. But remember, they only offer rides in their cars on Sundays.

🎃 Spooky News from The Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum! 🎃 Our Family-Friendly Trunk or Treat is back for one final haunting, thanks to the generous support of the @elsegundorotary ! 🧛‍♂️👻 Join us on October 27th, from 10 AM to 2 PM, for a day of spooky fun where kids can safely trick-or-treat from decorated classic cars. The El Segundo Rotary will be giving out candy and has even hired a face painter to add some extra magic to the event! 🎨🍬 This will also be the last day the museum will be open, so don’t miss your chance to celebrate with us before we close our doors. 🕸️ When: October 27th, 10 AM - 2 PM 🕸️ Where: The Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum Join us for one last spooky celebration—it’s going to be a scream! 👹 Rides are available with admission, riders must be at least 55” tall to ride. This Saturday! - This year's Tony Sousa Memorial Car Show will be held at the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum which is about 3/4 mile south-east of where the 1965 thru 1967 Shelby GT350 and GT500s were built, at LAX in El Segundo, California. - Open to all Shelby, Cobra, Mustang, Ford and Shelby-Inspired Cars. Over 20 Classes with 1st and 2nd place awards in all classes! Selection is by popular vote (by Car Show registrants). We'll also have our Bruce "Gooch" Kawaguchi, Michael Holmes and Best Of Show awards! - A beautiful event t-shirt (artwork by Dutch artist, Huub Linnenbank) will be included with each paid vehicle registration! Additional event t-shirts, as well as posters, will be available for purchase at the car show. Spectators are encouraged to attend for free... bring the entire family, there will be food vendors on-site and there's plenty of street parking available. Raffles, Vendors, Panel Discussion, Autograph Sessions, GT350s, GT500s, Cobras and much more! - Food Service will be provided by Rick's Mobile Shack... Gourmet angus burgers, Beef bacon wrapped hotdogs, Asada fries and more. Our Car Show celebrates the life of Tony Sousa, who was our Club's secretary and historian.
