Oh it’s a very, very proud day. As 2 Actors Class Members have been nominated for Olivier Awards!
@heathatrottlives for Best Actress in ‘Shifters’ at the Duke of York. And @amydibartolomeo for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical for ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ at the Dominion. Huge Congrats to you both 👏🏻This is absolutely wonderful news & I’m so proud of you both! These 2 Actors were in the same group no less! And what a group it was. All of them propelled each other forward with love & inspiration in that room & miraculous things happened.
(As a leaving present, they also all bought me a box of pencils engraved with quotes I had said throughout the courses. I love my pencils as much as I love this Olivier Award Nomination news. A lot.)
We are all over the moon for you Heather & Amy 🎊❤️
CONGRATULATIONS! 🎊

Huge Congrats to our Alumna @katiejoycewrites for her debut novel ‘New Beginnings’ 💫 A fictional story, but very much inspired by her experience working in homeless shelters and outreach programmes in London. And Alumnus @alexjbritt has recorded the audio book 💫 Audio book av: Spotify/Audible. The book is available from Amazon, Waterstones, Foyles.
“Callie is reeling from a break-up and stumbles into a night shift job at New Beginnings, a homeless shelter. Her tight-knit group of colleagues turn quickly into ride-or-die friends and Ryan, a charming new addition to the team, threatens her ‘no workplace relationships’ rule. Callie cares fiercely about the residents of New Beginnings and slowly uncovers their colourful life stories. But one resident’s growing fixation on her means that the job she loves is becoming more dangerous every day.“
What a fantastic achievement Katie! Huge Congrats 🎊

Our Alumna @giorgiavalentino_ is Associate Producer @talkingpeople_ Their next show is Feb 16th at the Underbelly Soho, staring Alumna @elisha_applebaum
‘Relationships can either go right or terribly wrong. They can turn toxic, fall apart, or never work from the start. But what about the people on the sidelines - the friends and family watching it happen, whose warnings are never heeded.’
Every show is created in the moment, shaped by the audience & the performers, together.
It might be funny, harrowing, or painfully familiar but what we do know is that it will be something you’ll only see once.
Go & support them if you can! 💪🎊
