Watermelon radishes from Herefordshire, homegrown pink hyssop flowers and a touch of radish brine — a bright riff on a dry gimlet and a dirty martini.

We’ve spent years working the bars, the late nights, packed services and all the chaos that comes with it. Cato is all of that pulled into one space — named after Alexander Cato, one of the first celebrity bartenders back in 1800s New York. A bit of old NYC spirit, a lot of London produce, and the bar we’ve always wanted to open.

Today I had some incredible news regarding my career creating menus and as a GM and I find out on the same day that one of my biggest inspirations has left us.
Douglas is the man who invented the pornstar martini which is one of the most popular cocktails in the world. He being a fellow Ghanaian in this industry inspired me so much and gave me someone to look up to.
Douglas inspired soo many and will be dearly missed!!!
