The Spring 2026 capsule is now live 🔥 Thanks to those who have already placed orders. A little context behind the drop: This collection is informed by stories of my grandfather, a schoolteacher who taught in a rural village in southern Taiwan. Elements of early-1900s Taiwanese school uniforms are examined, then reworked alongside the proportions and tailoring of the classic navy blazer, which was and continues to be a school uniform of western countries. Anchored in personal history and heritage, the capsule explores everyday menswear through an Asian-American perspective Film photography: @reapersower Model: @takashiyamada0926 Photo Assistant: @scattermyashesataldi Social Content: @iamjessicatt #theacspace #menswear #mensstyle

The Japanese Denim Tang Chore Jacket. It’s a mix of my own style (I’ll never get enough of a good chore jacket) and the kind of pieces I imagine my grandfather would wear for special occasions, but done with American details like denim. Last slide for the legend himself. Photography: @reapersower Model: @alberthsueh1216 Shot on location: @yunhaishop

Our next concept for summer, we drift into this easy, sun-faded idea of island life. This capsule is grounded in Taiwan as an island. The heat, the color, the energy, the wildlife. It’s that mix of laid-back and sun-faded that lends itself to this concept of island living. #taiwan #menswear #mensstyle #theacspace

This island is truly exceptional and an inspiration for us. Who knew there was so much packed into a small island…

One of the perks of running a Taiwanese-American brand is meeting other Taiwanese-Americans. The conversation moves easily like you’re picking up from somewhere instead of starting fresh. You realize you have a lot in common and by the end of the night, it’s like you’ve known each other longer than you actually have. This feeling is the reason a/c space exists…and the reason it continues. I’m here with @hochie71 the founder of @taiwaneseam_org and the past president of @tafagram wearing our brushed selvedge oxford shirt and @annyhs_ , the Executive Director of the Formosan Association for Public Affairs.

Cities on one side, beaches on the other. Mountains somewhere in the middle. The kind of place where you can be everywhere in a single day. Miss it.

Last time I visited family in Taiwan, I flipped through my aunt’s photo album and asked, “Why is there a refrigerator in the living room?” 👀 Swipe for the full story.
