For both of us, this Mother’s Day carries something deeper. Different paths, but a shared feeling.
For Chrys, it marks a milestone. Her first Mother’s Day having lived beyond the age her own mother was when she passed.
For me, it is my first Mother’s Day since losing my mother.
Mother’s Day isn’t just for “ Moms ” in the traditional sense. It’s for anyone who has loved you, supported you and been that safe place in your life.
The ones who care for us,
who make us feel safe,
who we can open our hearts to.
It could be your mother, of course.
But it could also be a father doing both roles,
a grandmother, a grandfather,
a friend, a mentor,
or someone in your community who has been that presence for you.
This is your moment to show a little love:)

to someone who truly matters to you.
On my own sentimental note, I will be offering not only bouquets, but also single stems.
When I was a child in Tokyo, I remember saving up my small allowance, nervously choosing one single flower for my mother. That was my very first memory of Mother’s Day with her. And that memory has never left me.
So this time, I wanted to create a space where even small children can come and choose a flower for their mom.
And also for those who may be going through a tough time who want to give flowers but may not be able to purchase a full bouquet.
Because at the end of the day, it’s all about love, right? ;)
There will be 2 simple bouquet options, as well as single stems available.
